Caroline Harker currently tutors SOCI 287, 288, 335, and 345. Caroline is completing a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Alberta. She received a Masters of Arts Degree in Sociology from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Sociology from Queen's University. Prior to joining Athabasca University, Caroline was a sessional academic instructor at the University of Alberta where she taught a number of undergraduate courses in sociology. Caroline's areas of specialization include criminology, gender, and social policy. Her specific area of research focuses on abused women's victimization experiences.
